Petition on Unpaid Emergency Leave for New Employees
On July 30, 2018, Goldie Ghamari brought forth a petition calling on the Legislature to amend Bill 148 by allowing employers to provide unpaid, as opposed to paid, emergency leave for newly hired employees.
This petition was inspired by the feedback and suggestions of local businesses in Carleton during Goldie Ghamari’s public consultation on small business back in February 2018.
