On July 16, 2018, Goldie Ghamari spoke for the first time at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. She thanked the people of Carleton for giving her the opportunity to serve and represent them, described the riding of Carleton, its historical and cultural significance, and also spoke about her family’s journey to Canada which led to this day.
